My last quick adventure was an overnight in Berlin on my way back to Sofia from Paris. As Paola soared over the Atlantic on her way to Denver, I slept (sort of) at the McDonalds in the Berlin train station. When I was awoken by an employee banging a tray on my table, I headed out for an early morning adventure through the neighborhood before heading to the airport to catch my flight to Bulgaria.
The Berlin Hauptbanhof is the nicest train station I have ever been in, hands down.
